Greetings,

1.  Our Thanksgiving Mass will be at 9 am on Thursday.  There will be no
Wednesday evening Mass this week.  Remember to bring an offering of food
for the Pantry (cereal, jam) and an item of food for your own
Thanksgiving meal for a blessing.  The offering collected at this Mass
will go to the work of the St. Vincent de Paul.

2.  A gift of Time:  we are looking for a few people to help change out
the Breaking Bread books on Friday morning (9am).  If you can help,
please reply to this message.

3.  This coming Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent, the beginning of
the church year:  happy new year!  We will have Advent candles for sale
($5 a set) and they will be blessed at the Sunday Mass.

4.  The Giving Tree tags are up.  Plan to pick up a tag (or more) to
help us give our families in need.  Though there are not tags for this,
gas cards are always appreciated by every one of our families.  At this
point we have 130 families on our list.  If history repeats itself, we
expect an additional 20% before Christmas.  Thank you for your most
