26 February 2010 - 18:30Lenten Dinner tonight, Pantry Volunteers, St. Patrick’s Dinner
Greetings to all,
1. Lenten dinner at 6:15 pm today, Friday (bring your own bowl, plate,
silverware if you remember); Stations of the Cross at 7 pm followed by
adoration until 8 pm.
2. Pantry set up: on Tuesdays (about 2 pm for a couple of hours)
volunteers gather to help set up the pantry for Wednesdays. We could
use a couple of more volunteers. You would be scheduled about once a
month or so with other volunteers. Let me know if you are interested.
3. Wednesday pantry: we could use another volunteer or two on Wednesday
afternoons from 3 to 5 pm. Volunteers sign in the pantry customers,
pack up their bags of food and assist in other ways. You would be
scheduled about once a month or so with other volunteers. Let me know
if you are interested in this ministry.
4. Be sure to get your tickets for the Holy Innocents St. Patrick’s Day
Dinner, Sunday, March 14. Great food, prizes and fun for all. Tickets
available after Mass or from the office (425-788-1400). Invite your
friends and neighbors.

Click “Lent Offerings 2010” to find out what is going on for Lent at Holy Innocents!
Ash Wednesday Mass and Distribution of Ashes will be Wednesday at 7 pm.
On Fridays of Lent: everyone is invited to enjoy a Lenten Supper at
6:15 pm, Stations of the Cross at 7 pm followed by Adoration of the
Blessed Sacrament until 8 pm.
This Friday’s Supper is sponsored by our St. Vincent de Paul
Conference. Donations will go to support the work of the SVdP. Bring
your own plate, bowl and silverware.
May your Lent be a little different and better this year.

Greetings to the Holy Innocent Ones,

2. Communal Sacramental Anointing of the Sick at both Masses this
Sunday, Feb 14. If you are chronically or seriously ill or experiencing
weakness of old age, you are encouraged to receive the Sacrament and
prayer of the church.
3. Pancake Breakfast after both Masses this Sunday, Feb 14, sponsored
by the Knights of Columbus: donations go toward the kitchen expenses.
4. Pantry assignment: canned corn, canned fruit.
