Greetings all:

1.  It should be a pretty busy week around here this coming week with
our High Seas VBS Tuesday through Friday.  Jennie tells me she has over
40 kids coming and something like 38 volunteers working on it.
Laura and George Henion have been putting in some long hours making the
props and they look great!

2.  We’re going to do a new picture directory!  We will begin sign ups
on July 18 after both masses.  You will also be able to sign up on line
and I’ll let you know as soon as the site is up.
But right now I am looking for parishioners who will be willing to help
after the masses to help with the sign ups.
We will be signing up July 18, 25, Aug 1 and Aug 8.
Please let me know if you could be available after your mass for about a
half an hour or so on any of those Sundays.
We will also need hosts/hostesses on the photograph days, so think about
whether that is something you might like to do.  It’s a chance to meet
other parishioners in a rather pleasant way.
Please help if you can!

3.  Pantry item of the week:  side dishes such as rice-a-roni, boxed
noodle or potato dishes, mashed potato mixes, etc.  Thank you for your
continuing support.  We are seeing about 50 to 55 families a week in our
pantry.

I hope you are enjoying the summer weather (I, however, am looking
forward to a bit cooler temps!)
