Octoberfest, Duvall Take-back Event, & Quilt Show

7_10:30 pm. Tickets are $15 each (adults only) and are available after
Mass or call the office. There will be a 9 piece Bavarian dance band,
and authentic German food: German Brats, German potato salad, sour
kraut and red cabbage, German desserts, assorted micro brews, and lots
of good fun. Invite your friends and neighbors.
2. Saturday –The Drug Enforcement Administration is sponsoring a
program to take back unused medications. There have been many issues
with unused pharmaceuticals falling into criminal hands or back into the
environment which has caused known and unknown risks. On September 25
you can bring your unused prescription drugs to the Duvall Police
Department between 10 am and 2 pm. They will also accept legal, illegal,
and over-the-counter drugs. The program is anonymous. Labels should be
removed. If not possible, a permanent marker will be available. Liquid
products will be taken in their original containers. Intra-venous
solutions, injectables, syringes or medical wastes will not be accepted.
3. Saturday — The Quilter’s Garden is sponsoring a Quilt Show in
Duvall and our 2010 Raffle quilt will be on display with others. The
Heritage Festival will also be going on at the Dougherty House (west of
the church). The weather is going to be nice, so come to Duvall. There
will be a shuttle from our parking lot to downtown Duvall for your
convenience (10 am to 4 pm).
4. Pantry — remember to bring canned fruit.
