Catholic Creation Spirituality workshop, Mother’s Day Brunch
Written by carrie.haines on Apr 27, 2011 in HeadlinesUncategorized - No CommentsGreetings!
1. There is no Wednesday evening Mass this week.
2. This Sunday, May 1st, we will have a special presentation workshop on Catholic Creation Spirituality: Learning From God’s Book of Creation. Our speaker will be Loretta Jancoski, former dean of Seattle University School of Ministry. How does Catholic teaching and the Stewardship of Creation apply to our personal and parish lives? We will begin about noon with refreshments.
3. On May 8, Mother’s Day, the Knights of Columbus will be putting on their Champagne Breakfast after both Masses. They will offer a great brunch consisting of champagne, orange juice (mimosas anyone?), ham, waffles made from scratch, scrambled eggs, fresh strawberries, mini bagels and all the trimmings. What a wonderful way to give mom a special treat, a morning off from the kitchen. A donation of $8.00 per adult and $2.00 for children is requested. Please support our local Knights of Columbus council and Holy Innocents as much of the profit goes to fund the parish Gail Dimock
