Greetings
1.  We have received Annual Catholic Appeal pledges of $44,000 toward
our goal of $54,300.  And we sincerely hope we will go over goal so we
can use the refund for finishing the kitchen in the hall.  Last year’s
pledges were $68,700.  We have heard from 161 households (last year
250), so we certainly need to hear from a lot more!  You can go on line
http://www.seattlearchdiocese.org/aca to make a pledge or turn in your
response at church.  PLEASE respond with a financial commitment or if
you are unable to do that, respond with a commitment to pray for the church.

2.  Graduating Seniors:  we sent postcards to everyone on our data base
that we thought might be graduating from high school this year.  We
would like to honor our seniors on Sunday 12 with a blessing at church
and listing in the bulletin.  If you did not get a postcard, we have
some available in the narthex.  Please let us know.

3.  Holy Gardens:  thank you to those who have taken a garden this
year.  There are about 5 gardens still needing some loving care.  Look
at the map in the church and sign up.

4.  Pantry:  last Wednesday we served 54 households which included 192
individuals.  Thank you for your continuing support of helping others in
need.  We can’t do it without your donations of money and/or donations
of food.  This week’s featured item:  canned corn, peas, or mixed
vegetables (we have lots of canned green beans).
