Written by carrie.haines on Feb 03, 2012 in HeadlinesUncategorized - No CommentsGreetings!
1. Hooray, sunshine today!
2. We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick this
Sunday at both Masses. Anyone who is suffering from serious mental,
spiritual, or physical illness, chronic illness, old age is encouraged
to receive the Anointing and prayer of the Church.
3. Remember to bring your donation for the pantry to vote for your
favorite team in the SVdP Souper Bowl. Suggestions? Tuna, pasta sauce,
jam, canned fruit.
4. This Sunday is Scout Sunday and all members of campfire and scouts
are encouraged to wear their uniforms. If you are interested in serving
as greeters or bring up the food baskets, please check in with me (Gail)
before Mass.
5. If you haven’t gotten your tickets for the Valentine Dinner with
speaker Terry Hershey, Saturday, Feb 11, be sure to get your tickets
this Sunday. Also, there are two great Valentine Raffle Baskets
(tickets one dollar each). Money from the raffle will help with
scholarships for the Women’s Retreat.
