Annual Catholic Appeal, Frank Vanhulle, & Pantry Ministry
Written by carrie.haines on May 30, 2012 in HeadlinesUncategorized - No CommentsGreetings to all the Holy Innocents Ones,
1. Thank you to all who have responded to the 2012 Annual Catholic
Appeal: we have reached our Archdiocesan financial goal. We have
received responses from 200 of our parish households. Our goal is to
hear from at least 240 of our parishioners. Any money given over-goal
now will go to our parish project of finishing the ceiling in the
basement. That project will cost at least $30,000. Every bit helps.
2. Sadly, our parishioner, Frank Vanhulle has died, and we will
celebrate his funeral here at Holy Innocents at 2pm on Saturday, June
2. Frank has been a parishioner here for 88 years! What a wonderful
gift both he and his wife, Ruby, have been to Holy Innocents, and we
give thanks to God for their faith and commitment.
3. Pantry: Tuna and/or Pasta Sauce
4. New Pantry ministry: Monday set up for the Tuesday volunteers. It
takes about an hour or so and can be done any time on Monday. We have a
couple of volunteers: would like a few more. Call the office……
