 Holyinn.org Getting Started

Overview

We’ve been rebuilding holyinn.org with new inspiration, ideas, and current technology to improve communication within the parish and throughout the community. The guiding principle behind this re-construction is the participation of the parish in building a fun and informative web site.

Getting Started

Your participation starts by simply accessing the ministry schedule online. You’ll need to log in to do so. After you’re comfortable logging in and using the schedule, you can contribute the conversation by posting blog entries about anything related to the parish or the Catholic faith.

To get started, you’ll want to do the following:

  1. Make sure you have a recently released web browser.
  2. Log in for the first time.
  3. Change your password.
  4. Check the Schedule
  5. Post a web log entry

Make Sure Your Web Browser is Up To Date

We highly recommend using Firefox to browse holyinn.org and the Internet in general. It’s aggressively built and maintained by enthusiastic members of the Internet community. If you already use Firefox, make sure the version is at least 2.10 or simply download and install the new one from here:

http://www.firefox.com

Verify your version of Firefox by the following:

  1. Click ‘Help’ on the toolbar.
  2. Click ‘About Mozilla Firefox’ on the menu.
  3. The version is on the ‘About Mozilla Firefox’ dialog.

Microsoft Internet Explorer is also a fine browser. Make sure you’re using version 7. If your browser looks like that below, and the version displayed on the about page by clicking tools->about is 6, update your Windows installation by clicking ‘Windows Update’ on the tools menu.
