<p>I always recall the Mass fondly where Ross would illustrate the joy of giving by handing our Oreos to the children. He was, he said, inordinately fond of Oreos, but his doctors had prohibited him from eating them himself. It was a lovely lesson. The children’s faces show so much goodness and promise. People should enjoy Mass more. Far too often we endure it, rather than celebrate it.</p>
