The Holy Innocents St. Vincent de Paul conference is holding a book drive October 9th to October 16th. Your donated books will be sold at SVdP stores and the proceeds will be used to help the needy with clothing, shelter, and heat and lights for their homes. Most families have all kinds of books sitting on shelves, in family rooms, kids’ rooms and storage closets. You can drop off your books at mass on the 9th and 16th. SVdP volunteers will be there to help you put them in the bins in the Narthex. (Please no textbooks, encyclopedias, or the kind of technology books and manuals that are received with new computers, software or TV’s.) In addition to providing books for others to enjoy, you will also be bringing hope to many families who are in need of financial assistance. Thank you for your support!
