Parent & Child Preparation Meeting

Baptism is the entrance and the gateway into the life of Christ. The person who is baptized has put on Christ and needs to continue to nourish the life of Christ throughout his/her entire life until that life is lived with God in eternity.  Children who received baptism as infants or were very young (before the age of seven or eight) begin the nourishment of Christ’s life around the time of second grade. This preparation includes the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist.

This orientation meeting is for parents and their children (7 years and older) who are baptized Catholics and who would like to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Communion this year.

At the meeting, we will go over the schedule and requirements.

Registrations will be available on Labor Day weekend.
