The Holy Innocents are those young boys who lived at the time Jesus was born and whom were murdered by King Herod in his attempt to have the new born messiah killed. The Holy Innocents are considered the first martyrs of the church. The Feast of Holy Innocents is celebrated each Christmas Season on December 28.
