Can You Help the Kids?
Late summer is the time families have to start thinking about school supplies for their children. Thanks to your generosity in the past we have been able to help our pantry families with school supplies.
For the 2017/2018 school year, the elementary schools in the Riverview School District are telling families to bring only a check for $40-$45, a back pack, and earbuds this year. The teachers are going to buy for their classes in bulk and this will also cover the school fees. Many of our Pantry families cannot afford this supply fee, especially if they have several children in the schools.
If you would like to help our pantry families and their kids, consider either buying a backpack, earbuds, flash drive or making a financial donation. This only applies to elementary school age children. THANK YOU!!!
The middle and high school students still need supplies like college ruled paper, 3-ring binders, pens, note cards and other items appropriate for their age listed below.
Below are suggested donation items for Middle and High Schools. Thank you so much for your consideration!
